Mobile Protect and Recover app for iPhone and iPad

Mobile Protect and Recover is a security application that is designed to safeguard iPhone users in the event of their device being lost/stolen

Locate - From the online account created during registration you can open a map pinpointing the location of your device

Recover - If somebody finds your iPhone and wishes to return it then they can fill out a simple form within the app and the details will be sent to you


Detailed Functionality:

In the case of loss/theft, the user can go to website and initiate a scream alarm on the iPhone, locate it and view images taken by the iPhone.

When the iPhone is in lost/stolen mode, notifications are intermittently displayed on screen encouraging the Finder to return it to its rightful owner.

Notifications – in the case that an honest person finds the iPhone, we provide on-screen notifications with a number to dial and a unique identifier for the iPhone to help the finder report it as found through our dedicated 24/7 support centre.

The app also provides an onscreen form to allow the finder send details of where the iPhone has been found through the iPhone itself

The app will also take a picture when in lost/stolen mode. This image is then displayed online in the owners secure account on our website. When taken, the image is also displayed onscreen to deter thieves and encourage the finder to return it to its rightful owner. This captured image can be a valuable resource for the Owner to help identify where the iPhone is or who may have it.

When the iPhone has been reported as lost/stolen by the owner (and if the owner has agreed to allow location tracking), the app will send updates of the location if there is a significant change in the location. The owner can also at any time request a location through their secure online account.
